Social implications of IT when communicating, has many advantages and disadvantages to it. The century that we live in, is based on a lot of communicating using computers. Without it, these days people would find it difficult to communicate with friends froma distance. This is how hooked we have become to the IT industry. Though there are aspects that we need to look into when communicating through IT for example, mobile phones, text and online chats.

Get the junk, Out of your Trunk!

Teens are great at making up excuses to avoid exercising. They come up with excuses like ''they have injuries, they feel sick, they're too tired, they're too busy'' and all the other rubbish they can think of.  Exercising isn't as bad as it seems. For instance, it makes you feel great and gives you the opportunity of catching up with your mates and having a decent chat (chatting slows up your pace, so you will exercise longer). It's a perfect time to be alone and think. You'll be blown away by the creative thoughts -- ideas for research papers, ways to end that fight with your best friend, and what to say to that cute kid in the neighbourhood.

You've probably heard countless times how exercise is "good for you." But did you know that it can actually help you feel good, too? Getting the right amount of exercise can rev up your energy levels and even help improve your mood. Exercising to maintain a healthy weight decreases a person's risk of developing certain diseases, including type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. These diseases, which used to be found mostly in adults, are becoming more common in teens.
The three components to a well-balanced exercise routine are: aerobic exercise, strength training, and flexibility training.

Fun exercises could be done in your spare time rather than laying about on the sofa watching TV. Walking to school more often won't hurt, if you listen to music whilst doing it, you won't even realise how much time has flown by. You can also go for a quick jog around your neighbour hood with some friends to keep your self occupied. Why not impress your school teachers and join after school activities. It gives you the chance of trying out new sports you never thought you would do, as well as a possibility of making new friends and earning confidence.

Yummy in your Tummy!

Did you know your diet HAS TO provide enough energy for growth?

A healthy diet comes with so many delicious and nutritious food. When we all see that bit of green on our dinner plate, it ends up going into the bin instead of going into you. What fruit bowl doesn't make your mouth water? Not only is a fruit salad easy to make, it's also totally worth the time. You could be creative when making your self a fruit salad and make it look appealing. When food looks appealing, believe me everyone would be tempted to have a bite!

There are some tasty fun, healthy recipes that can be tried out to keep the healthy diet going. A great link that got me started and eager for more was the bbc recipe website. Have a look for your self  http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/. From the day I looked at that website, I had to persuade my mum to make one of the meals for me (the spaghetti bolognese). She found it easier to prepare unlike the usual meals she normally prepares for me to eat. Because it was really delicious, I never stopped going on that website.

GET INVOLVED IN A FOOD TECHNOLOGY  CLASS :)
Attending a food technology class gives you the experience of tasting and finding out about different ways you can enjoy eating healthy. It also gives teenagers the opportunity of meeting different people and having fun during their free time. When you then learn how to cook a decent meal for your self, you don't have to rely on your mum to cook for you! (it even gives you the chance of showing off your skills to her).

Fruit Bowl Rap!

well heres the deal, my younger cousin HATES eating his fruit&veg and decides to go for the treats every time. Of corse it's not wrong to have a snack once in a while but when you eat to much of it, things could get out of hand. So since he didn't want to listen to any one that told him to lay down on the snacks, I decided to make my own healthy eating rap for him. Believe it or not, it actually brought some sense into him.

 I like my fruit bowl
forget the susage roll
we don't eat rolo we do it solo
i don't want a hole in my heart like a polo
Put your kit kat in the bin bag
i'd like a cucumber not a cadbury
i'll bring out the lettuce not a galaxy
living a healthy life is my true fantasy
Throw the mars in the stars
Get them snickers out of your knickers
Daim won't get you the fame
so get the fruit under your name
And lets do five a day all day every day.

Don't let bad health get in your way!

It's obvious that a lot of teenagers and kids don't get the daily amount of fruit and veg they need in a day.Maybe because they don't like eating their greens, it's disgusting or they just can't be bothered. All the same excuses repeated all the time. The unpleasant feeling you get when you don't look good or feel a little over weight can be depressing. Many teenagers worry their butts of about the fact that they don't look as good as the models they see on magazines. It's truly nothing to worry about because most of them have been airbrushed to perfection, just remember true beauty comes from the heart.
(So it's best for you to have a healthy heart!) We all know when you look good, you surely feel good.

I was once overweight, until I saw and realised what my weight could have done to my life. I got advice from experts, websites and friends on what I could do to stop my bad habit of constantly eating unhealthy, useless snacks. That's when I began to have a healthy diet that gave me that great feeling I always wanted and got me feeling more confident in anything I do. I mean come on, nobody wants to be walking around the street feeling like they look over weight and unattractive.

The best thing to do is to avoid looking like you don't get fed, it's not a good look and can also be dangerous to your health. A good influence on the body is your proteins as they keep you growing and make you look impressing :).

what teenagers don't realise is that eating healthy could change their life styles in an unregretable way. All around the world, people die at a young age due to their health issues. Do you want to prevent this from happening to you? Then this blog is the way forward!
